Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty says a grand jury has indicted Vance Luther Boelter on eight state charges tied to the June 14 attack that killed Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband. The counts include first-degree premeditated murder and attempted murder, plus animal cruelty and impersonating a police officer. Boelter remains in federal custody and has pleaded not guilty in the federal case.
